At Prakash Peda Bhandar, we are committed to delivering our handcrafted sweets with care and efficiency to customers across India. Our operations are based out of our store in the holy city of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh – 224123, and we are proud to offer nationwide delivery to share our authentic delicacies with every corner of the country.

Please read the following policy carefully to understand our shipping and delivery process.


1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1–2 business days from the date of payment confirmation.

  • Orders received during weekends, public holidays, or after working hours are processed on the next working day.

  • During peak festive seasons such as Diwali, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, or any special promotional events, there may be a slight delay in processing due to a higher volume of orders.

  • If there are any unexpected delays in processing (due to stock availability, logistics issues, etc.), our team will reach out to inform you via phone or email.


2. Delivery Timeline

We strive to ensure timely delivery of your orders while maintaining the quality and freshness of our products.

  • Standard delivery timeline is 3–7 business days for most locations across India.

  • Deliveries to remote or rural areas may take slightly longer depending on the accessibility and availability of our courier partners in those regions.

  • Please note that business days do not include Sundays or public holidays.

  • While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by courier delays, weather disruptions, strikes, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.


3. Shipping Charges

We offer transparent and fair shipping charges based on the following:

  • Order weight (total weight of the package including sweets and packaging)

  • Delivery pin code or location

  • Selected delivery speed, if expedited options are offered during checkout

The final shipping charges applicable to your order will be clearly displayed at the checkout page before you proceed to payment. We do not charge any hidden fees.

Occasionally, we may run free shipping promotions—please check our website or social media pages for ongoing offers.


4. Order Tracking

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email and/or SMS containing a tracking link and tracking ID.

  • You can use this link to monitor the real-time status of your shipment directly on the courier’s website.

  • If you do not receive tracking information within 48 hours of placing your order, please contact us for assistance.

Our team is always available to help you with tracking updates and estimated delivery windows.


5. Delivery Partners

We work exclusively with reputed and reliable third-party courier partners to ensure safe and timely deliveries. Some of our logistics partners include (but are not limited to):

  • Delhivery

  • DTDC

  • Blue Dart

  • India Post

  • Shiprocket-affiliated carriers

While we strive to partner with the best, delays caused by courier operations (e.g., weather conditions, operational issues, local disruptions, or unforeseen transit events) are beyond our control. In such situations, we request your patience and understanding.


6. Failed Deliveries & Undelivered Orders

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to any of the following reasons:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address

  • Invalid or unreachable contact number

  • Customer unavailability at the time of delivery

  • Refusal to accept the parcel

Then the courier partner may return the order to us. Please note:

  • We will not be able to process a refund for such orders.

  • If you wish to have the order re-shipped, you will be required to pay the additional shipping cost.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate shipping details and ensure someone is available to receive the parcel.

We strongly recommend double-checking your address, pin code, and contact details at the time of placing your order.


7. Packaging & Freshness Guarantee

We take great care to package each item to maintain product integrity and ensure safe delivery:

  • All sweets are packed fresh using food-grade, hygienic, tamper-proof materials.

  • Packaging is designed to withstand transit and prevent damage, contamination, or exposure to external elements.

  • In the rare case of damaged or unsealed packaging upon arrival, please refer to our Replacement Policy and contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

Our goal is to deliver your favorite sweets in the same delicious condition as if you purchased them from our store in person.
